In some occasions, the McAfee security software will allow to install Peranso on your PC, but will subsequently remove it  from your PC when you first try to run Peranso. This happens because McAfee erroneously assumes that Peranso contains a virus.

Fortunately, there's an easy work-around that allows you to mark Peranso as safe and to run it successfully. The following steps and screenshots where kindly provided by Mel Blake:

    • Load the McAfee software. It shows following window:

    • Select Settings in the upper right corner of the window, which opens following window:

    • Select the Real-Time Scanning option, resulting in following window:

    • It contains an Excluded Files section. Click the Add file button. It opens a file selector. Navigate to where you have installed Peranso (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Peranso) and select the Peranso.exe file. Click Open and you will be returned to the McAfee window where you will see Peranso in the list of excluded files. Peranso will now run properly.
