Without an active Internet connection, it is not possible to download observations from the AAVSO AID database. To still let you run this tutorial, we have included a Peranso project file with all V3101 Cyg observations used in this tutorial. 


Navigate to the Peranso Tutorials 1 folder. To do so, first locate your My Documents folder (typically C:\Users\<your_user_name>\Documents). In there is a subfolder Peranso, then select the subfolder Tutorials. Finally, select folder 1. Plotting a lightcurve from the AAVSO database. Double click the file V3101 Cyg.nper. 


This will launch Peranso and open an ObsWin with the V3101 Cyg lightcurve.
