Hardly 6 nights after the spectacular noctilucent clouds
(NLC) of June 14th, 2005 (see below), we were again
lucky to see NLCs over Belgium. Though less
prominent, they put on a nice show for about 30
minutes. Here's some pictures taken with a 8 megapixel
Konica-Minolta A200 digital camera, equipped with a
28-200 mm objective.

2005, Jun 14/15
Some beautfil noctilucent clouds were visible
over Landen, Belgium on June 14/15, 2005. Below is a
sample of pictures taken with a 8 megapixel
Konica-Minolta A200 digital camera, equipped with a
28-200 mm objective (equiv. 135). The first 5
pictures were taken in the evening. Much to my
surprise, the NLC reappeared in the morning sky. I
spotted them at the moment I woke up to close the
roof of my observatory after a successful night of
CCD photometry. The 6th picture was taken at that
moment. The morning session NLC were less
spectacular, but still quite obvious.
