solar
eclipse of May 31, 2003
The solar eclipse of May 31, 2003 - which
was a partial one over Belgium, and visible in
the early morning - could be observed relatively
well from CBA Belgium Observatory, despite the
hazy sky. Due to the poor transparancy, we had
to wait till about 4h00m UT to catch a first
sight of the Sun - which was then already
several degrees above the horizon.
Below is a sample of digital photographs, made
with an Olympus C-3030 Zoom 3.1 megapixel
camera.
